Task Teams

Task Teams are the main working units of SAGE. They connect S2S science with sectoral needs, user engagement, and application-oriented outputs across key decision areas.

5 Task Teams listed under the current SAGE work structure.
SAGE Agriculture, Health, Disaster Risk Reduction, Energy, and Predictability.

Why Task Teams matter

The Task Teams provide the structure through which SAGE develops sectoral applications, cross-cutting research questions, stakeholder engagement, and project outputs.

How they work

Each team brings together researchers, forecasters, practitioners, and partners to identify priorities, coordinate activities, and support the development of usable S2S applications.

Working Approach

01

Identify priorities

Define sectoral needs, scientific gaps, decision contexts, and application opportunities.

02

Coordinate activities

Support reviews, case studies, workshops, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative work.

03

Co-develop outputs

Translate forecast science into guidance, tools, case studies, reports, and resources.

04
